Grand tour bronze statue of Narcissus inspired by the antique. Narcissus was famed for falling in love with his own reflection. This sculpture depicts, as is typical of his depiction in ancient art and sculpture, him standing in a relaxed pose as if having just glimpsed his reflection. This form became popular in the Renaissance and Grand Tour. This is a finely cast example in nice black patina
