Wonderful early 19th century amboyna dressing table in the manner of Georges Jacob. The original, foxed mirror plate set in a simple, domed, veneered frame supported by round columns mounted with beautifully cast swan sconces. The original inset shallow marble dish sits on a chest of four drawers, the top two fitted, with ormolu anthemion mounts, swan handles and escutcheons of cornucopia and swags. Standing on a full plinth base. The marble has historically been broken and put back together but the cracks are visible
