Stylish pair of early 19th century mahogany narrow open bookcases in the manner of Gillows. The shaped tops over reeded and acanthus carved hinged columns that close/open to lock in the original, mahogany fronted shelves. Standing on sophisticated and beautifully designed feet incorporating a lyer enclosing stylised honeysuckle, over a reeded bun foot.
