19th century English mahogany armchair/desk chair in the Chippendale manner. The shaped top rail carved with acanthus over a beautifully designed pierced splat. The seat rail with crisply carved gadrooning, all standing on cabriole legs carved with flowers and acanthus. the drop in seat upholstered in bargello
